Changes to my study programme

 I like my study programme.

I love geography, but at this university in a small career within the faculty of architecture and urban planning. Few students enter and over the years there is a lot of dropout. I would like the geography department to consider changes to its curriculum to prevent dropouts.

The faculty's infrastructure is classified as a “national monument”, so improvements to its buildings depend on authorization from the Council of National Monuments (CMN). The main pavilions were army stables.

We use geographic information systems with software that helps us recognize and show the problems or phenomena that happen in different places on earth.

Travel to the past!

 

I would like to travel to the past, because i want to see the dinosaurs! more specific, to the Mesozoic Era, because was the era were the dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. 

I would like to see them and how they were, if they really were like books told us, how were their hunting techniques, feeding, see their eggs too and how was the world without people there.

I'm a big fan of the Jurassic Park movies and i have always wondered, if dinosaurs were like the movies show us; I dream with camping in the middle of the wood and hide from them, like that i could study their behavior and how they interact with each other and with their environment and maybe when i was ready, try to interact with them and see if they are friendly or agressive with the human.

I don't think i would stay in too long, my intention is study them and interfere as little as possible, because if i stay more than i should, maybe i interrupt "the time continuum space" and create an alternative world, yes i'm a fan of the back to future movies too.

I would like to work...

The National Forestry Corporation, CONAF, is a service dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture that carries out actions to promote and sustain the Chilean forestry sector and protect biodiversity, both through the administration of the State's National System of Protected Wild Areas ( SNASPE), as well as for the execution of the Wildfire Prevention and Fighting Program.

i would like to work in National Parks in Chile or around the world, i love natural landscapes.

The best holidays evaaaah!!!

In the summer of 2012, i trevelled to Punta Arenas, i was there from february 7th to march 7th with my friends (me and three bff's)

We went to torres del Paine National Park, for camping and hiking.

We walkes twelve days around the lakes, montains and glaciers inside the park.

We visited "The Milodon´s Cave" too, in Puerto Natales.

One day... Jaime and i, wento to "Rio Turbio" in Argentina´s Patagonia to buy cigarretes (they´re cheapier than chilean cigarretes) We arrived there with a chilean driver on his mini-van. We met him on the road, because we were very close from international border and he gave us a ride for free (he went to argentina to buy gasoline and cigarretes too).

Before to returning to Santiago we went to Froward Cape, to see "the cross of the seas" (literally this place is at the end of the continental plate).

ICELAND!!

     Let´s talk about Iceland. 

This place is a country would i like to visit. His capital is Reikiavik, and i'm interested for his geography; i would like to visit: vulcanos, lakes, glaciers and geysers. Iceland, is an island located in the north of atlantic ocean, between greenland and norway.  The island's interior, "the highlands", is a cold and uninhabitable combination of sand, mountains, and lava fields. I want to study and investigate about his geological system, specifically: "The Geothermal Power" and also, i want to see "northern lights".

I would like to study and live there because, i like the landscapes from iceland and i think this "island-country" is a peaceful place to live.
